Table of Contents

Breeze Airways will debut its new Airbus A220 aircraft in select routes beginning May 4, including trips between Richmond International Airport and Tampa, Florida and Charleston, South Carolina.

Breeze also will premiere its new ‘Nicest’ fare with first-class seating, available only on the A220, with an introductory fare of $99. That fare is not available on all flights and must be purchased by 11:59 p.m., Jan. 25.

Breeze will have 15 A220-300s in service by the end of 2022, primarily on longer flights, including transcontinental service. The carrier, which began service in May 2021 with an all-Embraer fleet, has agreed to purchase 80 A220-300s, with one aircraft scheduled to be delivered each month for the next six and a half years.

The new “Nicest” fare will be the third type of fare option available and will include a first-class seat, two checked bags, a carry-on bag and 6% BreezePoints.

The A220 will not operate every day on each route.

Breeze Airways provides service between 16 cities across 13 states, growing to 18 cities and 14 states by Feb. 19.
