Breeze Airways begins new Richmond-Fort Myers service

Breeze Airways began its new nonstop service between Richmond International Airport and Fort Myers, Florida Nov. 15. The service will run twice weekly seasonally.
Fares on the new nonstop flights start from $39 one-way, if purchased by Nov. 21 for travel between Jan. 8 and Feb. 7, 2024.
“This marks our 12th destination out of Richmond,” said Breeze Airways’ President Tom Doxey. “Our expanded service will give guests in Richmond an easy and affordable way to travel to Southwest Florida and enjoy the beautiful beaches there.”
Breeze flights use an Airbus A220-300. The airline doesn’t charge change or cancellation fees up to 15 minutes prior to departure and offers other benefits such as free family seating and a la carte pricing.
