Bon Secours is expanding its network of urgent care centers in the Richmond Region, beginning with the opening of a new Bon Secours Urgent Care center in Midlothian June 19. The organization already operates an urgent care facility in Glen Allen, and it will open four more locations in the coming months – at Regency Square, on Nuckols Road, in the East End of Richmond and in the Swift Creek area of Chesterfield County.

Additional locations are planned for next year, according to company officials.

The expansion is in response to a growing number of patients seeking accessible care for minor illnesses and injuries, officials said. Each urgent care facility offers walk-in appointments, the option to reserve a spot online, and the added connection to a health system if a higher level of care is needed.

“We are proud to expand and scale our urgent care offerings to improve access to same-day care, making health care easier for patients throughout the Richmond area,” said Mike Lutes, market president of Bon Secours Richmond. “Our vision is to deliver the quality, compassionate care Bon Secours is known for in a more personalized, quick and convenient setting. We want patients to spend less time waiting and more time with their health care provider.”
