'Big Yard Sale' to be held July 30 at UR

The University of Richmond and the Sierra Club Falls of the James group will hold the 23rd Big Yard Sale at UR Saturday, July 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Early bird shopping for UR employees and students only (with ID) will begin at 8 a.m.
The sale will take place at New Fraternity Row, 354 College Road on the UR campus. Park and enter west of the stadium at parking lot C66.
The event will feature student discards including clothing, mini-refrigerators, microwaves, linens, appliances, kitchen and household items, sporting, lamps, electronics, and office chairs. Purchase is by cash or check only, and buyers should bring their own bags.
The rain date will be Aug 6. For details, visit "The Big Yard Sale" on Facebook. Proceeds will benefit UR Rethink Waste Office and the local Sierra Club chapter.
