Biden breezes in Virginia, Henrico

Presidential candidate Joe Biden easily won Virginia’s Democratic Primary election yesterday, claiming 53% of the vote, outpacing Bernie Sanders, who earned 23%, Elizabeth Warren (11 %) and Michael Bloomberg (10%).
Among Henrico voters, the percentages were similar – Biden earned 57%, Sanders 22%, Warren 9% and Bloomberg 8%.
It was a record turnout for a presidential primary in the state, with more than 1.3 million votes cast statewide. Voters in 14 states cast ballots in the Democratic primary yesterday on what is known as 'Super Tuesday.'
