Beth Sholom installs new board members

The Beth Sholom Living Board of Directors installed its new members during its 2018 annual meeting Oct. 21.

The Installation of the new board members was conducted by Ellen Renee Adams, Board Chair of the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond.

Jewish Community Federation of Richmond Board Chair Ellen Renee Adams installed Jonathan M. Joseph as the new chair of the Beth Sholom board. he replaced Beth Siegel-Stein, who held the position for four terms. Joseph is a partner with Christian & Barton, LLP, where he leads the healthcare practice group. He previously was the chair of the finance committee of the Beth Sholom Living Board.

“I am honored to be able to serve the families and staff as Chair of the Beth Sholom Living Board,” Joseph said. “For many years Beth Sholom Living has played an important role in caring for seniors in our community and providing their families peace of mind.  I look forward to supporting the compassionate care we are known for, and I’m excited to work with the Board to shepherd the next chapter for our facility, especially after our recent of the renovations of our Health Center.”

Also installed at the meeting were Janet Gale (vice chair), Ben Humphreys (treasurer) and Stanley Ullman (secretary).

“I am looking forward to working with the new board officers and Jon as the chair," said Beth Sholom Community President and CEO Mo Funk. "They come to us with a collection of business, healthcare and marketing knowledge that will be a great benefit to us.”
