February is American Heart Month. National Go Red for Women Day is a day to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease in women, which continues to be the number one cause of death for women each year. The first Friday in February is designated as Go Red for Women Day, during which men, women and children are encouraged to wear red to help raise awareness of this deadly disease.
