Art Night spotlights local artists, new exhibits at Cultural Arts Center

Celebrate the arts, meet local and regional artists and enjoy new exhibits at Art Night, an artist's reception on Jan. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Cultural Arts Center, 2880 Mountain Rd. in Glen Allen. The free event will include live artist demos and art activities; a wine and beer cash bar will be available.

Exhibits will include "Men & Women" by Scott Supraner, which explores changing ideas of gender over time through ceramic wall reliefs and sculpture; "India - A Journey of Colors" (pictured), featuring photographer Kelly Kinsey; "Reflections of Light," featuring jewelry designed by Wanda Hollberg and created with layers of glass; and "Bytes and Pieces," Emma Lou Martin's exhibit of repurposed trash, found objects and art materials to create a series of collage works.
