Art lounge opens in Eastern Henrico

The Art Lounge RVA, a paint-and-sip spot offering public and private painting parties, has opened in Eastern Henrico County. The business is located at 5203 South Laburnum Avenue in the Laburnum Green shopping center.
Owner Tequila Canty is a self-taught artist who offers art instruction and direction during the painting events. Canty began hosting her “Virginia Creators Shopping Expo” last year, events that attracted guests seeking handmade art, jewelry, clothing and lifestyle products such as soaps and candles. Through her new business, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present their products during classes.
