Application process opens for REB Awards for Teaching Excellence

The grants are funded by the Community Foundation, and teachers can receive $5,000 to $15,000. The money can be used for professional development activities.
The REB Award for Teaching Excellence is designed to honor teachers who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in teaching and student support. Teachers can be nominated by any parent, student, educator, or school staff member other than their principals.
Nominations may be made online and require a letter of support from a second person. The deadline to submit a nomination is Feb. 20 at 5 p.m.
