Henrico County and Virginia State police officials issued an Amber Alert Thursday morning for a missing Henrico teenager. The 15-year-old girl was last seen leaving her apartment in Highland Springs with her half-brother at about 11:10 p.m. April 3.

Ronique Channel Poteat, 15, is described as a Black female, about 5 foot 4 in height and about 115 pounds. Police believe that her half-brother, 23-year-old Tyrell Ashley Davenport, took her from the apartment in the 400 block of Newbridge Terrace, near Highland Springs Elementary School.

The two left in a black Honda Accord with license plate "KI&ARI," which police Thursday morning said they had located.

Poteat was last seen wearing a pink Nike t-shirt with a white Nike swoosh on the front, red boxers and a black bonnet. She has pierced ears and was wearing Michael Kors glasses.

Davenport, 23, is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 145 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark blue zip-up sweatshirt, dark blue jeans and black Timberland boots.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of either Poteat or Davenport should call 911 or Henrico Police at (804) 501-5000.
