The personal injury law firm of Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen is seeking community nominations for its 14th annual Allen & Allen Hometown Heroes award. First introduced to honor the firm’s 100th anniversary in 2010, the award recognizes the positive impact of local individuals who generate positive change in the community or in the lives of others.

“The Allen & Allen Hometown Heroes award is something our entire firm looks forward to each year, and we take pride in the fact that it’s become such a staple in communities across Virginia,” said Edward Allen, president of Allen & Allen.

Previous winners have included community leaders, foster parents, disability advocates, small business owners, teachers, police officers and fire fighters. Allen & Allen has honored more than 500 people since the award was created.

“Allen & Allen believes that a community is so much more than just a group of people: it’s the spirit we create when we work together with our neighbors to help one another,” said Allen. “Everywhere in Virginia there are individuals who are driven to volunteer, motivate, and create positive change. We call these special people Hometown Heroes.”
