Allen & Allen donates to Henrico nonprofit organization

The personal injury law firm of Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen recently honored one of its Allen & Allen Hometown Heroes from 2021, Rob Reid, with a $1,000 donation to support Cover One Foundation in Henrico. Reid is the vice president and founding board member of the nonprofit that provides resources and volunteer assistance to underserved organizations and people involved in athletics in Central Virginia.
The donation is part of “Allen & Allen Cares: Helping Our Heroes,” a community giving program that honors organizations and recognizes former Allen & Allen Hometown Hero recipients. The program chooses a top-of-mind issue that communities are facing, which aligns with the firm’s mission of protecting the injured, and awards $1,000 donations to organizations working to address those issues.
“Over the years, we’ve been privileged to get to know and recognize hundreds of incredible people through our Hometown Heroes program,” said Edward Allen, president of the firm.“We’re proud to honor Rob with this donation. At Allen & Allen, we are passionate about protecting those in need and draw strength from serving others. It’s clear that the entire Cover One Foundation team shares that passion, and we look forward to staying in touch and seeing the positive impact this donation will have on their mission.”
The Cover One Foundation launched in April of 2020. The nonprofit offers travel, athletic gear and equipment support to help local youth participate in sports programs.
