Allegiant launches nonstop service to Sarasota from RIC

Allegiant Thursday began service from Richmond to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ). The airline is offering fares on the new route as low as $55 each way for flights purchased through April 6.
“We’re excited to be adding this new service from Richmond,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “We’re sure that area travelers will enjoy getting away on vacation to this beautiful, vibrant destination on our convenient ultra-low-cost flights.”
The new year-round flights will operate twice weekly. With the addition of this new route, Allegiant now serves four cities from RIC. Details are available at Allegiant.com.
