A half-dozen scholar athletes from Henrico high schools will be part of the inaugural class of Active Living Leadership (ALL Stars), which will kick off its 10-month program July 29.
Sponsored by Sports Backers in partnership with the Richmond Times-Dispatch, the program will provide education, hands-on experiences, and mentorship to 20 ALL Star Student-Athletes, who were selected from a pool of 140 nominees. Through participation in both in-person and virtual educational opportunities during their senior year, the seniors will build long-lasting relationships and leadership skills while also earning $2,500 scholarships.
Among the Henrico students selected for the program are Lily Ricci of Deep Run H.S., Ellie Wood of Freeman H.S., Breyona Robinson of Hermitage H.S., and three Godwin H.S. students: Kylie Jenkins, Julia Mann, and Tucker Washburn.
