All Henrico high school graduations to be held in May

As a result of the school year beginning in late August this year, all Henrico County high school graduations will be held earlier than normal in the spring – and for the county’s nine comprehensive high schools, they’ll happen in a new arena.

Those nine schools will host their graduation ceremonies at the new Henrico Sports and Events Center at Virginia Center, on the following dates:

• May 29 – Henrico High School (11 a.m.), Highland Springs High School (3 p.m.) and Varina High School (7 p.m.);
• May 30 – Freeman High School (11 a.m.), Deep Run High School (3 p.m.), Godwin High School (7 p.m.);
• May 31 – Tucker High School (11 a.m.), Glen Allen High School (3 p.m.), Hermitage High School (7 p.m.)

Prior to those events, the Henrico Virtual Academy will host its graduation May 20 at 7 p.m. at Tucker High School, The Academy at Virginia Randolph will host its graduation May 21 at 7 p.m. at Tucker, the ACE Center at Hermitage and ACE Center at Virginia Randolph will host their graduations May 21 at 7 p.m. at Hermitage High School, and the ACE Center at Highland Springs will host its graduation May 22 at 7 p.m. at Highland Springs High School.
