ALDI will host a hiring event in Henrico March 29 for its Richmond-area stores.
The event will be held at the Hampton Inn and Suites, 5406 Glenside Drive, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. ALDI is hiring for store associate positions, which start at $12.35 per hour, plus a pay increase after six months.
The company operates stores in Henrico, Chester, Colonial Heights, Mechanicsville, Midlothian, North Chesterfield and Richmond.
ALDI operates more than 1,750 stores in 35 states. The company recently announced a $3.4 billion investment to increase store count to 2,500 locations and create 25,000 jobs by 2022.
Applicants must be at least 18, available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. Monday through Sunday, have the ability to lift at least 45 pounds and be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
