Airport Sheetz holds grand opening

Restaurant and convenience store chain Sheetz held a grand opening and ribbon-cutting for its newest Henrico location July 22. The store, located at 55 S. Airport Drive near Richmond International Airport, offered free samples of food and beverages during the event, and customers received free self-serve coffee and soda all day. The opening festivities also featured prize giveaways such as gift cards, insulated tumblers, and more.

Sheetz donated $2,500 to hunger-relief organization Feed More, and customers attending the grand opening were encouraged to donate non-perishable food items for the food bank in return for a Sheetz-branded thermal bag. The company also donated $2,500 to the Special Olympics of Virginia.
