Actor Belasco found dead in his Glen Allen hotel room

Actor Bert Belasco, III, 38 of California, was found dead in his Glen Allen hotel room early Sunday, according to Henrico Police.
Belasco, most recently known for his role in BET’s“Let’s Stay Together,” was declared dead on scene at the Virginia Crossings Hotel and Conference Center by first-responders at 2:52 a.m. Sunday. He was reportedly in the area to film a new movie.
The entertainment news website TMZ.com reported that his father believed Belasco had suffered an aneurysm but that the family was awaiting results of an autopsy.
Family and friends had been unable to reach Belasco, prompting them to call hotel officials to check on him.
There are no signs of foul play, according to Henrico Police, who also said that the circumstances surrounding Belasco’s death do not appear to be suspicious.
