The Advanced Career Education Centers at Hermitage and Virginia Randolph will host two spring plant sales in the coming weeks, featuring selections of student-grown flowers, vegetables and herbs, as well as native plants.

The first sale will be held on April 18-19 at the ACE Center at Virginia Randolph, 2204 Mountain Road in Glen Allen. The sale will include native plants, summer vegetables, herbs, and annuals. Prices will range from $2 to $20, and plants will be sold from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Culinary students also will be selling barbecue, burgers, sides, and drinks between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. each day, while welding students will be selling garden art, and barbering students will be offering hair care products.

The second sale will take place on April 30-May 1 at the ACE Center at Hermitage, 8301 Hungary Spring Road. The sale will include native plants, annuals, perennials, vegetables, and herbs. Prices will range from $1.50 to $20, and plants will be sold from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sale also coincides with the ACE Center's Entrepreneurship Day, during which students will be offering manicures, dog grooming, graphics, barbering services, and more.

Both sales are open to the public. Attendees must use cash, checks, or credit cards. Parking will be available on-site.
