A look at VDOT projects planned Dec. 4-11 in Henrico

Below is an update on Henrico road construction planned for Dec. 4-11 that could result in delays. The list also includes long-term and recently finished construction projects.

• I-64/Airport Dr. (Rt. 156) interchange (Exit 197) – Alternating lane and ramp closures are planned continuously through the expected completion in 2022 of an interchange improvements project.

• I-95 north/south between Route 288 and I-295 to I-64 – Alternating lane closures are planned Dec. 10 between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. for pothole patching.

• Various locations – Occasional lane closures are planned continuously through 2021 for a light-emitting diode (LED) lighting installation project.

• I-64 east/west between Rt. 288 and Laburnum Ave. – Alternating lane closures are planned Dec. 7 between 8:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. for pothole patching.

• I-95 north/south between Hermitage Rd. and mm 102 – Alternating lane closures are planned Dec. 6-10 between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. for sweeping.

• I-64 east/west between Nine Mile Rd. and mm 204 – Alternating lane closures are planned Dec. 10 between 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for pothole patching.

• I-295 north/south at Woodman Rd. – Alternating lane closures are planned Dec. 7-11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. for bridge repairs.

• I-295 north/south between mile markers 42- 46 – Alternating lane closures are planned Dec. 8-9 between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. for sign inspection.

• I-295 south between mile markers 30- 27 – Alternating lane closures are planned Dec. 6-10 between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. for bridge repairs.

• I-295 north/south between mile markers 20- 43 – Alternating lane closures are planned Dec. 8 between 8:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. for pothole patching.

• I-295 north/south between Rt. 301 and mile marker 44 – Alternating lane closures are planned Dec. 6-7 between 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. for bridge inspection.

• I-64 east between Mechanicsville Tnpk. and mile marker 194 – Left lane closure planned Dec. 10 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for guardrail repairs.

• I-64 east/west between Laburnum Ave. and mile marker 196 – Alternating lane closures are planned Dec. 4-11 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for bridge painting.

• I-95 north/south between Brook Rd. and Parham Rd. – Alternating lane closures are planned Dec. 4-9 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for bridge painting.

• W. Broad St. east/west between the Goochland County line and Innesbrook Rd. – Alternating lane closures are planned Dec. 7-10 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for inspection.

• Elko Rd. between Hughes Rd. and Hines Rd. – Now open following pipe replacement work.
