804 All-Star basketball game scheduled for March 16 at Henrico HS

Twenty-five of the top local high school seniors will compete in the 16th annual 804 All-Star basketball game March 16 at Henrico High School. The event is designed as a showcase for the region's top boys and one last chance for fans to see them take the court locally.
This year's event will feature several Henrico County seniors:
• Tyrese Jenkins, Charles Tart and Jordan Hernandez of Varina High School;
• Michael Fortune of Freeman High School;
• Darius Jones of Hermitage High School;
• Robbie Beran of Collegiate School;
• Jordan Crump of Highland Springs High School
Beran is considered a top-100 recruit nationally and has signed with Northwestern University. Hernandez is signed to play for Virginia State. The others have not yet made their college choices.
The event will feature three-point and dunk contests preceding the game. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. For details, call (804) 304-4660.
