72nd, 73rd district candidates to appear at Oct. 4 forum

Candidates for the 72nd and 73rd district Virginia House of Delegates seats will appear at a forum at Reynolds Community College’s Workforce Center, 1651 East Parham Road, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 4.
Richmond Times-Dispatch reporter and columnist Jeff Schapiro will moderate the event, which also will be streamed online through Zoom (use passcode 522381 to access the event).
In the 72nd District, Democrat Rodney Willett is seeking re-election to a second two-year term and will face the same opponent he defeated two years ago – Republican Mary Margaret Kastelberg.
In the 73rd District, Democrat Schuyler VanValkenburg is seeking his third term and facing a challenge from Republican Christopher Holmes.
