6 Henrico baseball players participating in Va. Commonwealth Games July 15-17

Six high school baseball players from Henrico County are on the roster of the Central Virginia team that will compete in a four-team all-star round-robin event against teams from the North, East and West regions of the state July 15-17 at Liberty University as part of the annual Virginia Commonwealth Games. The competition involves some of the top 15-to-17-year-old baseball players in the state.

The Henrico players are:

• Cameron Rizzo, a junior shortstop/second baseman from Deep Run High School;
• Trey Gauch, a sophomore right-handed pitcher/utility player from Deep Run High School.
• Ryder Warren, a sophomore outfielder/second baseman from Freeman High School;
• Ryan Bland, a sophomore right-handed pitcher/third baseman/outfielder from Freeman High School;
• Justin Tobin, a junior shortstop/second baseman/outfielder from Mills Godwin High School;
• Cole Powers, a junior shortstop/second baseman/third baseman from Mills Godwin High School.
