59-year-old Richmond man identified as cyclist killed by train in Henrico

Henrico Police have identified a 59-year-old Richmond man as the bicyclist who died Nov. 24 when he was struck by a train while riding across the tracks on Hungary Road near Oakview Avenue.
Marcell Eugene Morse was riding across the train tracks while the crossing arms were down when he lost his balance and fell, police said. Another man who was with Morse crossed the tracks on foot and made it to the other side safely.
The crash occurred at about 3:30 p.m. When police and Henrico Fire arrived at the scene, they found Morse with obvious signs of trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
