3 more Henrico schools report COVID-19 cases

Three more Henrico schools reported cases of COVID-19 Nov. 12.
The new cases occurred at Deep Run High School, Glen Allen High School and Shady Grove Elementary School.
It was the second new case reported in two days at Glen Allen and occurred in a person who was last in the building Oct. 28. The announcement came just a day after another case was reported at the school; it occurred in someone who was last on campus, outside, Oct. 29. The Citizen is awaiting details from the school system about whether the two cases may be related.
The Deep Run case involved someone who was last in the school Oct. 29, while the Shady Grove case involved someone last in the school Nov. 11.
The new cases bring to 70 the total number reported in 42 Henrico schools since Aug. 12.
