3 injured in Eastern Henrico crash

A two-vehicle crash in Eastern Henrico on East Laburnum Avenue near Pemberton Avenue (not far from Mechanicsville Turnpike) Nov. 21 resulted in serious injuries to three people.
Henrico Police and Henrico Fire responded to the crash at approximately 3:17 p.m. and found two vehicles off the roadway, with one overturned. Three people were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries from the incident, which led to traffic delays in the area for several hours.
The Henrico Police Crash Team is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
