22-year-old woman found dead in vehicle in Highland Springs

A 22-year-old Henrico woman was found shot to death inside a vehicle early Aug. 5 in Highland Springs.
Zhykierra Zhane Guy was apparently struck by gunfire just after 1:40 a.m. in the 200 block of Carlstone Court, not far from the intersection of North Airport Drive and East Washington Street.
Guy was in the passenger seat in a vehicle. First-responders attempted to revive her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Henrico Police will work along with the State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the official cause and manner of death.
