20-year-old Henrico man dies in single-vehicle Varina crash

A 20-year-old Henrico man has died after his car crashed into a tree and caught fire in Varina on the morning of Oct. 19, according to Henrico Police.
At about 11:47 a.m. that day, emergency personnel found Orion Mehki Stewart inside a burning vehicle after the vehicle had veered off the road and crashed into a tree in the 5200 block of Darbytown Road.
Stewart was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, but he later succumbed to his injuries, police said.
