2 dead, others injured in overnight shooting near Richmond Raceway

Two men are dead and several other people in the hospital with critical injuries following a shooting in the parking lot of a shopping center near Richmond Raceway early Saturday morning.
Henrico Police responded to the 5100 block of Richmond-Henrico Turnpike after 3 a.m. and found a group of people there, including the victims. Police reported shortly before 11 a.m. that two men had died, though they did not release their names, pending notification of their next of kin. There was no word on how many other injured victims there were, but police said they would provide details as they became available.
