10th annual Anthem Corporate Run will alter road options June 6

The 10th Annual Anthem Corporate Run will take place June 6 at 7 p.m. at the Innsbrook Office Park, finishing on the Dominion campus. The event has over 5,800 participants currently registered to take part, representing more than 200 area companies. The 5k has grown to become one of the largest corporate run/walk events in the state, allowing employers to promote the message of employee health and wellness in a fun environment.

The event will open at Dominion Technical Center (5000 Dominion Boulevard) with a special presentation from the Anthem Foundation on the main stage at 6:20 p.m. Fitness Warriors will hold a pre-race warm-up on stage at 6:30 p.m. The 5k will be followed by the Hirschler Fleischer Post-Race Office Party on the campus of Dominion Innsbrook Technical Center from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The following roads will close at 6:30 pm: Dominion Boulevard at Sadler Road through to Waterfront Place; Waterfront Drive/Highwoods Parkway through to Sadler Place; Sadler Place from Sadler Road to Cox Road; southbound Cox Road from Nuckols Road to Innslake Drive; Waterfront Place from Cox Road to Dominion Boulevard; Innslake Drive from Cox Road to Sadler Road. As the last participants pass each point the Police will reopen roads (also referred to as a rolling opening of the course).
